I design software to solve important problems in a clean, safe, and intentional manner. My name is Delight Amadi-Sheriff. I'm a software engineer who is motivated by curiosity, product thinking, and the conviction that excellent software is as much about people as it is about performance. My interest in technology was not motivated by a single reason, but rather by a strong need to understand how things function and why they break. That attitude evolved into something more focused: a discipline for developing secure, scalable systems that meet real-world requirements.

I work throughout the stack using tools such as React, Node.js, Next.js, MongoDB, and, most recently, React Native, delivering products that are both intuitive on the surface and resilient below. However, tools are simply tools; what distinguishes my work is a focus on the unseen: the reasoning behind decisions, the human experience behind each connection, and the long-term consequences of what we deliver. I've recently started learning what it takes to run a business by addressing real-world issues in Nigeria's housing and real estate industries. Nestful, my current project, is more than just an app; it's a crash education in balancing user expectations, market realities, and engineering limits. It is educating me to think not only as a developer, but also as a creator of systems that can grow, adapt, and serve people in meaningful ways. I approach API design and backend workflow architecture with the same energy: keep it clean, safe, and always question why. I'm not just writing code for features, I'm also laying the groundwork.
